My dealer doesn't have any details yet, just that Ducati is bringing back an extended warranty... I hope they come up with something before my 1st year is up.

May be a dumb question, but...What if, like a dumbass, you sold your bike only to miss it very bad and buy a used one.? Can I still buy an extended warranty...??? Thanks

PS. I havent actually got my 2nd bike yet but in a month or two...

I will buy mine as the original expires. I can't see having an exotic bike like this and not be covered as much as I can. One major issue or a couple minor ones and more than covers itself. And I will always wait. I totaled my RSV4 while still in the original warranty, had purchased extended right when I bought it, and became a HUGE issue of what would be refunded. As far as I can tell, no price difference in waiting, and can avoid any issues if I want to sell, or wreck, the bike before then.

my stealership said audi may have one if not its second party. the second party one they are offering is very good. its from mcgraw power sports and for us it would be the new option as you are adding to your original warranty .

the other thing that i was told wait till its close to expiring cause audi is coming soon

I would add that it doesn't matter one lick to me if Audi has one. It is basically insurance, it will be backed by a carrier. My only concerns are how much deductible is on a visit, what exactly is covered (should be true full coverage, not some drive train BS), and if the carrier is a big one, as in they won't go bankrupt. If they are small and unknown, good chance they will and you'll be out everything you paid. Just research who the actual carrier is (it won't be the broker selling it, but a carrier like Zurich).
