at ducati.co.jp the panigale is still dispalyed in its original beauty...

but if you have plans like these:



the exhaust might be right like that.

wow, that's very interesting. The exhaust is ridiculous but have any of you noticed the motor's heat shielding for the right side?

Not sure that's for heat so much as for noise, which is apparently what prompted the retro can. Pani has a lot of valvetrain noise, which is amplified by the acoustics of the hard-mounted aluminum airbox/monocoque. Rear subframe is still exposed, which being AL and bolted to the head is going to carry a lot of heat; I think leg contact with that is probably where the folks who have been getting minor burns are getting them from.
