Do not buy Rizoma PROGUARD SYSTEM RACING

I am f*"cked.
Bought Rizoma's "Proguard System for Racing" for my SL.
It cost me USD 400.-. I tought that it must be made out of 7075 Aluminium, but it's PLASTIC!!!

Complete Rip-Off!
Thanks from Stw

Hey Steve

Not one word in the description of the official website.
But they never did. Products in the past have been always superior, but I think they have problems now.

For instance all their screws where cleaned in the past on a lathe, now only the visible screws on the bike (e.g. the clutch cover protector solution for the Panigale, 2 screws turned, 3 not). It's also remarkable that they completely forgot the "new" Monster series. You can't find any product for the M1200 or M1200S.

The mount is billet, the little guard piece that sticks out is a replaceable plastic part. On the one hand plastic is lighter, so putting it on an SL that's a positive, right? On the other hand, putting plastic on an SL is kind of like a fake carbon fiber wing on your GT3.

The Woodcraft guard also uses a plastic replaceable piece, I'm not sure who makes a guard that is full billet?

IMO there is most likely a reason from a safety point of view that it is plastic .
