just about to order a 520 set up from a german site and they charge for the chain by the link ..if i order a 15/41 520 evr3 setup how many links do i need?

I have 15/42 pulls smoothly from 25 mph in 3rd without protesting. I also added full 1299 system and sprint filter. Feels as though the power of far more linear rather then the 2 stoke it used to feel like

15/41 520 conversion is what I did.

I did find on the faster country roads I was looking for another gear though.

CNC Ti flange nuts, polyurethane cush drives, CNC alloy flange, AFAM alloy sprocket and carrier, Proti Ti sprocket nuts, 520 gold chain, and Ti wheel nuts. Big saving in weight and fun to do.

What are you getting at the top of 2nd about 94mph ?



With new tires I redline at 100mph in second, about 99 as they wear down.

Me too; perfect for road riding and my tight, technical local track. That said, if I lived near a track like Barber or any other big track, the 41 would be the way to go. Luckily, I also went the with the 520 gold chain, polyurethane cush drives, AFAM alloy sprocket and carrier; with the quick change sprocket carrier, I can switch to a 41 if I suddenly find myself at a bigger track.

Any recommendations for chain? I been reading a lot and was wondering if the D.I.D evr3 520 would hold up to daily riding I went with 15F and 42R and aem everything the back all I'm missing is the chain.
