So another 21 miles this morning. Making it 42-ish miles with new gas and Sea Foam. No problems.

Reading all the comments and based on the observations so far I'm guessing it's a combination of bad gas and the RB. My RB is starting most of the corrections above 4500 RPM with it's biggest corrections coming at 5000 RPM and higher. So bad gas may amplify the fueling qualities of the RB. For now this is the best theory I can come up with.

If it were a bad wire, coil, or plug gap I would think that the stumble would be more frequent or consistent. The only significant variable changing in my equation, aside from ambient conditions, is the gas and minute adjustments the RB is actively making to the fueling tables.

Keeping my fingers and toes crossed...

aren't forums great?!!!

got a Panigale 1199 S just two weeks ago, my new trackweapon and guess what.... has the same 5000 rpm problem... in to the dealer tomorrow.

the problem occurs each and every time I hit 5000 rpm, otherwise completely fine.

Don't believe it's fuel quality related, either software or plugs my first (uninformed) guess

Will keep you posted.

What mods are done to your bike?

I've done two more tanks of gas, approximately 160 miles, and it is running as nice as it ever has. Silky smooth!!

My bike is is a standard 2014 panigale 1199S apart from a WSB full Termignoni system!!! ECU is reprogrammed for the full system without a RB or other.

Was at my dealer today, appeared to have the wrong sparkplugs of witch one was faulty. Put in new plugs and seems to be running fine now. But Will only know for sure once I put her on track again.

@metung: It's the full termi system for sure. I think you should pull it off and send it to me for testing purposes. Damn that thing is sexy...

You should see the exhaust now after two days on track and getting a nice bleu color

Hi Gents,

I just joined the forum
Im having the same issue on mike bike. CEL with the 5000 cut thing.

It was running well on one night and got parked for one week. then once I started it the other day for a spin, it had the CEL on.

I would empty the tank and try having a fuel change. hopefully it solves it.

Have u guys figured this out?
Appreciate the help here. Thanks
