2015 1199 Pani R not starting

Seeking advise:

When I turn on the bike I get an engine warning prompt and bike does not crank to start. I've checked and replaced all fuses with new even though none were damaged, yet it doesn't not start. The voltage from the TFT read 12.7 volts.

The day this occurred the temp dropped to 49 degrees in the morning. While I was 10 mins into my ride to work I noticed the bike made like a choking action for about half mile then it ran as usual. I got to work shut the bike off to open up at work, started the bike without any problems the parked a minute after. It wasn't until I was leaving work eight hours later that the problem of non stating occurred. Once it started and idled for a few seconds then cut off and never cranked over.

go down the list (easiest to hardest)

1. all power on? (battery check, fuse check)
2. Does it crank? (gear sensor, can't find neutral, starter motor, sticky clutch)
3. electrical, make sure all the sensor, wiring connectors at tight (connector to oxygen sensor, connector throttle sensor, connector to ECU, crank position sensor)
4. foul spark plugs?
5. fuel pump?
6. injector relay?
7. you're fucked!

Make sure the starter button is pushed all the way in? It is a bit recessed in there. I also keep mine on an Optimate trickle charger for the lithium batteries.

You need to plug in to a PC to diagnose fault.

Could be TPS sensor gone bad

Battery is gone.

They don't tell you when you're buying, but the Lithium battery needs to be plugged into the charger/maintainer at every available opportunity. A cold snap killed mine.
