High Beams question

Is there a way to turn the high beams on and keep them on without having to hold down the highbeam trigger? Like day riding, is there a way to turn it on and keep the high beams on? Sorry if stupid question to some but i cant seem to figure this out

The high beams click on and off (toggle) when you press the button forward and down toward the ground. If you just squeeze it you get a "flash".

Kinda kicking myself for not telling him that you just have to hold it down and that's how Ducatis work.

Then we could have had a whole round of "I use painter's tape to hold mine" or "DP makes a glossy finish high beam holder", etc.

if you must ask this, then you might have not know that the 1199 has "parking light" function. look it up, i use the 1199 as a decorative lamp when it sit in the living room

Wait, we have a highbeam, AND a parking light? This makes the heat issue so much easier to deal with. If only this bike had a kickstand, I could quit using my paddock stand.
