first service and rear wheel nut loose

hi all had the service done yesterday along with the change from flat to progressive much better as most people indicate, however one to watch on riding to the dealers bike felt weird stopped and upon checking rear wheel nut it was loose, the circlip had come out of the mounting hole and was basically nearly off the bike, limped it to dealer as was only hand tight and the tech changed the ciclip and cable tied the two loops on clip together, check ya bikes chaps and i advise to get he ties out !

cheers

Dumb arses forgot to put the cable tie on when DPing the bike?!

Did they check for axle and wheel hub damaged, or just send you on your way?

I'd wanna see it with my own eyes.
Seems they can't be trusted as it is.

That nut goes on with 220 pounds torque, no way it came loose, was never tightened properly. The clip is only there to prevent the nut from coming off in the event its not torqued properly. Sounds like the clip was not installed correctly and the nut was not torqued, WOW.

If your wheel actually wobbled on the axle there is NO WAY it was not damaged - wheel and axle both.

Are you saying it worked loose on the way to the dealer before the service, or after you picked it up? The first scenario is quite scary.

Potentially dumb question: why would the dealer take the rear wheel off?

When a dealer makes this kind of mistake on a service, it is time to give another shop a chance to do your service.
