Flashing ECU upon entry to country?

So apparently my 1299s is in the country (in Toronto) and has to have the ECU re flashed (or looked at at least) by whatever governing body looks to ensure emissions and other restrictions are met.

Anyone know of this? I wonder if I should call Ducati ask them wtf that is all about. I've never heard of this before.

This makes me want to have it remapped right away...

Any feedback about this would be appreciated.

Get it remapped and dyno tested right away. You paid for an Italian superbike, make sure you got one.

Then light a pile of tires on fire and send pics to your eco moonbat politicians. If they keep F'ing with you, you'll keep burning tires. While were at it, send a cigar to the Hitlerly Clinton camp. LOLz.

^^^ Only issue with all of this is that we are in Canada.

We will write an apology letter to whomever and send Maple Syrup to show that there are no hard feelings.

The politicians will thank us, by increasing our Insurance costs, Fuel costs, Power costs, and then just in case... Tax rates.

1... 2... 3... Goooooooooooo Freedom!

Such a great place to visit. I don't know how you guys got into this mess. It just seem un-Canadian to have a gov. like that.

How do you guys even afford that? Was slow as heck up there. Didn't seem like a wealthy place that people could withstand such high taxes. I'm sure I was in the sticks, but still.

Viva la revolution. And bagged milk. I just got back from a week In Wisconsin. They have bagged milk also. But they carry it on their heads. Which is weird.
