Bursig stands for 1299

Just picked up a bursig stand for my 1299. Beware, the template they give you to cut the semi-circle on the lower fairing is wrong. The cut my lower fairing, trusting the template and it caused me to cut a wider circle...making it look pretty sloppy.

Looks good. Does it roll easy with the bike on it and is it just on there by the weight of the bike or is there a means holding it on the stand. Never used or seen one in person so I'm curious how it works.

I bought the sv stand (half the price). Bike felt like shit on the stand and didnt lift in the front. I filed an ebay claim and they sided with the lying lowlife seller of it. Definitely not a fan of this stand or the SV knockoff version. TO each his own I guess
Thanks from mark419ny and flobrandx

Measure twice, cut once.............

But seriously, you are literally the only person who will ever notice that. No one will have a clue unless you point it out! It bothers you, because you know it's there

I got this one for my 1199 and it will fit my 2015 R (even with adjustable pivot). The only thing is you fit brackets to the suspension mounts which the lift fits in. Essentially you replace some standard bolts etc. with longer ones so you have to make sure to torque them up correctly.

But this is by far the most solid stand of it's type with no mods or cutting. They even do an electric one!

I just recently got the SV Racing stand as well...

I've not put it together yet to test it, but I'll have to keep close eyes on it I'm guessing.

ha, got the SV stand as well and should have gone with the bursig.

buy cheap, buy twice.

it lifts the bike, but the front gets elevated less than the rear.
my pins are adjusted perfectly. i will try to shove some ptfe sheets in between the pole and the guidance part to eliminate slack/freeplay.

i also got the plate for the race SV, combined price was great.

i cut the fairing piece myself, drew the template, transferred it to the fairing and cut it out with the dremel.
