1299S Rubbing chain on single sided swing arm

A while ago I saw some rubbing of the chain against the single sided swing arm of my 1299S.
Now the bike is at its 12000km maintenance interval and the rubbing is becoming more and more.
Ducati is assessing if they should do something about it, till now they did not come up with a solution. The dealer phoned me today and he told me that they have sent the pictures to Bologna and their first reaction is no warranty issue, so no new swing arm. However milling away the aluminium on the swing arm, like the solution on new versions of the swing arm, could be done on my own costs......
Has anybody the same issue? And how was it solved by Ducati? Or how it not solved by Ducati?
This would help me to build an archive for Ducati to help them in providing a customer friendly solution.

I have the same problem on my 1199. I just live with it seeing my bike is out of warranty

I would have to use a pry bar to get my chain to move that far left.
even then I doubt I could get the chain to touch the swingarm.

Countershaft sprocket may be mounted backwards. This has been an issue since 2012.

Yep, sounds like they installed it backwards.
Interesting side note: On my Anniversario Ducati milled a little slot into the swing arm. That proves that even with everything mounted properly there's still a chance of chain rubbing as other forum members posted in multiple threads here.
