I Ride: 2014 Panigale 1199R
I've had mine for 2 1/2 years and have had no major dramas, still looks like it did when it came of the show room floor, just be prepared to go over all your bolts on a regular basis.

I Ride: 2015 1299 S
My 2015 1299 S has been a wonderful machine with no major issues at 7300 miles. It spend it's downtime in the garage with a dust cover and I clean it after every ride, the bike still looks brand-new no rust. A little proper maintenance and care goes a long way with any machine. I take pride in ownership of such a bike.

Thanks for the response guys.

As I suspected, if you look after it, it will look after you.

The other candidate was the MV F4 1000 RR, pretty bike.. but doesn't do it for me.

I also checked out the R1 and ZX10R, but the jap bikes lack something..... Personality?

Wrong side of the country, and I'm looking for 0km, preferably MY17.

Thanks. Already read the manual... good tip I've also read most of the problem posts here and on other forums. There are some consistent issues, but I'm assuming most of those have been ironed out over time.

That dodgy demo just threw me a little. Couldn't believe such a low k bike could look so worn.

One of the SEQ dealers (I live in Brisbane), but I haven't decided yet. One of them is at the top of the list. When I have it, I'll post an update on the experience.

I Ride: 2016 AWS 959
I have the 959 and one of the first things I did was replace some fasteners with PROTI ones, caffeine, I mean @c8h10n4o2 - you could always do that for good measure once you have the bike in hand

Depends how its treated, I know witch suzuki spent close to half a million so that the bikes spend their life at the dealership undercover/out of the elements.

Also their may or may not be a V4 ducati coming
