I'm no expert on this matter as I'm still working on my track riding skills, but I will agree with the rest of the guys as you have to get your upper body off more. As I drop my shoulder everything else follows right with it.
l noticed your bar end mirrors, I think if you took them off it'd give you more room to twist your wrist on the inside of the corner giving you a better upper body positioning. Also try moving a little more of your rear end off the seat, I like to go full cheek off the seat and tends to help.

The 1299 and R models have lean angle data.

As others have said I'm no Rossi but I have learned a lot from YCRS. The video below shows some of the things that have helped me and the model isn't bad either. Pay close attention to inside foot position. That one thing made a big difference in body position. Especially with a higher peg position.

sorry twisted i couldnt resist this

good thing your not rossi gramps as you would have been getting smoked every year since 2010 averaging one win a year for the last 6 years and no wins so far in 2017.

oh twisted one more thing i believe you have an R and the anniversary right. i would definitely put the R on the track and just stare at the anniversary.

for me i ride the 1199, stare at the hp4, track the ninja.

the only reason i dont ride the hp4 that much (under 1500 miles) is that god forbid i crash it i can never get another one. if i crash the pani i can get one tomorrow.
Thanks from Twistedracer and MdDuc

Yeah Mark, the R finally hit the track Saturday. The Anniversario was only on the track for the lunch time ride at the races.

I saw some of the track pics from Saturday. Unfortunately I had called it a day before the photographer shot turn 9. That's a long left where I could could work on body position. Turn 7 shots showed that I was inconsistent there. Sometimes I was Doohan style. I guess I'm an older rider trying to adopt the modern young rider style. More work.

You're riding an 1199. Should be an S1000RR.
