I Ride: 2017 Ducati 1299 Panigale
Ok so I mounted my Sony 4K on the 2 screws just above the key hole. The angles is good but I'm getting a lot vibration when I get on the throttle hard. Any suggestions?

This year I put a sticky mount on the top of the fairing stay with a few gopro linkages. This nearly eliminates wind noise and provides a good vantage point, but I am unsure how to prevent the reflection of the white shock absorber grommet you can see. Other than that, I really like this view.

On my old 848, I was able to use a sticky mount on the tank and still get into a full tuck, but the ergonomics of the 1299 mean that's not an option anymore.

I am considering doing a custom cutout in my front fairing similar to motogp style with a GoPro Session camera for next year.

Put a piece of black electrical or duct tape over it.

Has anybody experienced problems with the GoPro frames snapping in half or breaking somewhere (especially the two little "legs"/tabs) due to the vibration of the bike?

Mine just broke a yesterday after using it for about a month or less. Luckily for me I noticed on time and saved the camera. I would've been screwed if it would've been my rear camera where I have the gimbal!

I wonder which frame is more resistant, the clear waterproof one or the black one? I don't know why they don't make them out of metal! (I just bought one from ebay that is cnc aluminum, hopefully that will solve the problem)

Yup I know, that's the one I bought a couple days ago and will be getting in the mail soon. Was just wondering if any of you guys have experienced the same issue and why GoPro doesnt build something more resistant.

Theo only problem I have is for the rear camera. I bought a battery pack for the hero session and the frame is plastic and there's no way to find a metal one
