1299 Anniversario Resale?

Hey Everyone...

I was so happy when I got my Anniversario last year... However I haven't been riding it much since i got it. I just don't have the time for track days and even riding it around town (I drive my 911 GTS usually because I have someone or something to move).

Has anyone actually sold their anniversario? I had the Akra slip on put on and it has almost 900 miles. What have people gotten for theirs?

For what it's worth, mine is 042/500

It's probably not practical to ship to the UK but I'd be seriously interested if it was. Wish now that I had got one when they came out.

Depends on the market.....

Over here in WA the job market is dead so people are trying to get rid of their toys so things are cheap.

Heres one for 40K AUD but his dreaming as redbook says 32-38K private but things have been going for trade in price 24-28K.

Here is a generalized guide:

knock about 20% off the msrp the first yr...then 10% each year after that - depending on milage and bike condition deduct more - thats kind of a target price you could play with - also check what the current "Out The Door" deals that might be available at your local dealership for the non-Anniversario model - its hard to battle against a New with warranty, versus an older non-warranty bike - it is all worth thinking it thru to come up with a valid teaser price

also: check ebay, CraigsList in your area

in all seriousness chuk the guys that strike when the iron is hot have not gotten hurt as bad as others that have hung around.

i have friends that have sold 1199s and got a good value for them 1 or 2 years out.

i know others myself included who have put so much work and parts into their bikes that they will never recover what was put into it.

if you truly want to sell your bike do it ASAP. the longer you weight the more you will lose. not to judge you but you have a porsche 911 gts. i doubt you are hard up for 22k. id keep the bike in the living room and never sell it it looks that good.

your biggest decision will be to actually sell or keep it. whichever you pick be happy with it. personally id keep it.
