Exhaust Heat Shield Removal

I'm trying to remove the exhaust heat shield below the seat, but the inner most bolt is seized. Any tips for getting that out? Seems to be a real dirt trap under there so no surprises it's difficult to get out!

Penetrating oil unsuccessful, not sure how to get the heat gun in there without damaging other parts. I may have to get the dremel out

Did mine last year. It took a total of 4 hours to remove and replace with the carbon heat shield. We had to use a very long extension to get to the sub-frame bolts. If I remember correctly it was an 18" extension, plus another 6" one. The 6" one was not a swivel but allowed the torx socket to move slightly to get the right angle to get in there and get a good bite. FYI...use good quality torx socket. The first one I used broke. Thankfully my brother has really good tools and his worked great. Well worth it in the end as the carbon shield looks awesome IMO.

Is there room to be able to give it a good accruate hit it with a hammer. If you can' try it, it may break the torque/seizeyness! ( just invented a new word).
Have you tried pure paraffin? Better than most penetrating oils. B&Q do it.
