What plastic pieces aren't essential?

There's way too much plastic covers on the Monster 1200. So, as part of the cafe racer modding, I would like to strip as much away as possible. So what's not essential? And what REALLY should be left on(I'll probably just paint those)?

If they are'nt structural or needed for airflow into the engine they aren't necessary..

Did you mean all of them are essential? And I'm not so sure that every piece of plastic cover is "structural". Guess it's best if I just paint them all then(or swap for CF)

Sorry I typed like a dip right then. If it's not structural or needed for engine airflow its not essential.

I think there is or was a lot of R&D that goes into the body work. I know with the 1299 the tail section was born in a wind tunnel. If speed and acceleration is your game then In my opinion I think the plastics are needed some more than others. A carbon fiber approach would be a better option to keep aerodynamic in play and the weight savings should complement acceleration.

I'll leave the speed for the 1299S. The Monster is gonna be a daily that's gonna be cool aesthetically while still maintaining power(it does have over 130hp overall).
