Talking Proud new owner - 1198 SP

Hey fella's I picked up a very nice '11 1198 SP over the weekend. 1-owner, adult owned, well maintained, all documentation, code card/key, verified service records, etc. Also came with some tasteful mods, performance upgrades, etc. Couldn't be happier and looking forward to some happy smiles/miles ahead!

great bike, I had one... then I tested the 1199 and all of a sudden it felt as if my 1198sp was like a tractor...But that's just my experience... At least you will have lots of torque up front..... I would get the geometry addressed on that bike because it steers wide out of corners...
Thanks from VAST

the best geometry fix for the 1*98 series is to buy a Pani... despised the way they turned & handled...

I disagree vast. The 1198 series handled pretty awesome , just because its successor handled wayyyyy better doesn't mean the 1198 handles bad. Pani handles so well it's like cheating !

I turned my 1198sp into a track bike and fixed the chassis issues - triples, Kyle link, etc. I love it. My next two days will be on my 1199s. I'll report back.
