Ducati Superleggera race suit??

Hey guys I'm a new superleggera owner. I just bought a pre owned awesome machine and am stoked for purchasing it. I used to race GSXR 1000 superbikes so all my racesuits are blue. LOL I saw an image when I did a google of someone wearing what seemed to be a factory Superleggera race suit. If you guys know of one or if it was a limited run, let me know thanks

Contact your Ducati dealer. He should take care of your request. Dainese made two different Superleggera suits: track and street. The track one includes D-Air and I don't know whether it's allowed now in the US, in 2014 it wasn't. Also Arai made a Supperleggera CF helmet that could also be ordered from the Ducati dealer.

That's the ultimate. A SL with all the kit to hit the track.

I personally like the Spidi replica race suite, I think its Dovi's replica suit from MotoGP minus the sponsorship stuff. I also like that Ducati suite above, Spidi has that red orange look the SL has.

yeah thanks guys, I also was liking the Spidi suit. One of my favorite suits were some kangaroo skin spidi's. Yeah I gotta think a bout this one. I'm headed to the Ducati dealer Wednesday to get my ecu chipped for race exhaust, I'll ask them then. also want to road test a scrambler!! lol I'll see if I still can fit in my 46 spidi suit still!

I am sure it varies by place. But over here when we see somebody pull up in that kind of getup, with the bike and then the Ducati Leathers and Ducati helmet and probably with Ducati decals all over his trailer etc....we think "look at this douche".

People can't roll up with that kind of setup trying to look like some kind of Factory racer, and then get lapped in the Intermediate track day group.

It is just too much. The bike? Of course, absolutely. But Ducati leathers and Ducati helmet? No. That is getting into Harley Davidson cult territory.

Might as well put a big neon sign on your back that says "MAKE SURE YOU LOOK AT ME, I RIDE A DUCATI"

I concur with Chaoitic, plus, its my postulation that its the guys that put on all the advertising that are usually, bent and out of shape and want to advertise their high brow possession(s) that rarely transfers into riding skills... how can it? These clowns are usually down in front of Starbucks waiting for people to admire their possessions instead of becoming better riders......

......A recipe that yields decadent poseurs no doubt ....
Thanks from wfoduck and Chaotic

wait wait wait - so, you're saying it's better to get all the stuff mixed up, rather than matching ?

I agree with both of these fine gentlemen..... If someone gave me the suit, I take it, but I would never show up with both....
Thanks from Prince Albert and Chaotic
