Can you post a vid of the STM clutch? How does it sound compared to the older dry clutch Ducati superbikes? How does the sound blend with the engine sound?

Sorry, bike is already torn apart again
Will continue upgrading it before WDW at the end of June.

I'll try to take a video as soon as possible. But smartphones are really shitty in respect of sound recording.

My first impression:
You as a rider do not get a lot of the clutch's sound. Exhaust, engine and air intake strongly overlap the clutches noise. If clutch is engaged, no sound of course. When the clutch is open, you hear the recognizable rattling.
Mostly people who do not know much about bikes are rather confused and think there must be something wrong with the engine
When I first visited my Ducati dealer after I installed the clutch all guys immediatly ran out of the shop to have a look before I could switch off the bike. And all of them had a BIG grin on their face. So, for me, mission accomplished.

The clutch is a bit harder to pull (can be easely adjusted with a different cup-spring). But I like it that way. The SLs and Rs are not commuter bikes anyway and do easely stall in stop and go traffic). And with the QS and blipper there is no need to use the clutch lever except for starting and stopping. It slips less than the OEM clutch and feels very direct. So far I am very happy, but I didn't test it under full load and on the german highway yet.

A word of warning: Clean and nice installation is very time consuming and it needs to prepare some tools like pressing stamps etc. If you want to do the conversion, do it yourself. A dealer won't take the time that is required to do the install properly (because he can't charge it to the customer).

BTW: The Bursi clutch shown in the video above is actually the predeccesor of the STM clutch kit.
Thanks from Phl and Twistedracer
