Calling all 1299SL Owners - has anyone heard from Ducati Corporate?

-after 100 km from unknown to me reason I lost DP plate holder/tail tidy (which could lead to even more problems to my bike and myself if I did not notice that on time) Warranty claim - rejected.
- meantime I ordered brand new Ducati rear paddock stand that cost me more than 200$. The quality of assembled stand is below any standard and of course is unacceptable. Pictures showed in another thread. Warranty claim - ongoing but highly possible will be...
-recently during my first 1000km oil service I was informed that my headlight has some electrical issue and suppose to be replaced. And again as per Bologna technicians all is 'perfecto italiano' and the claim was: guess what - YES - rejected...

Is all above just some coincident? I don't feel as a exclusive customer - I don't even feel that they treat me like customer...

Hey Ducati wake up!

So sorry for you bad experience. How can they reject the headlight issues??? Did you try to write Ducati Italy?
I bought a brand new Multistrada S DVT in 2015 and had many issues.. paint problem.. dashboard butter quality impossible to clean without leaving scratches.. staples coming out from the seat.. brake cables removing paint from the front fender all them fixed under warranty.. after 1 year and almost 10.000kms got leak on the fork.. first answer Ducati said NO.. second answer we give you the parts and you pay the work approximately 400dollars.. I said NO.. wrote to Ducati Italy.. they called me few times and after one or two months got OK from Ducati to fix the fork under warranty.
So my first experience with Ducati was not the best but I can't complain too much.
I highly suggest you to write Ducati Italy and complain about the lights and paddock and tell them all the issues you had before.
Good luck

I sent them an email few days ago and got below answer so far.
I hope that my mail will make difference because my local Ducati dealer can't sorted it out at all. If not I will try again and again and again.
Your case is the best example that you need to fight for your right. But in my opinion this is not acceptable at all! I do have much better customer service with my Hyundai I40 car.
I will keep you guys updated how the situation progress.

That's good they will call you and pass your case to another department that will decide and hopefully they will give you the answer you deserve.

That new about VW don't know what to think hopefully Ducati will be in good hands and keep on improving their products. We love Ducatis

I just had an email from my dealer advising that they have received information from Italy confirming an expected delivery date of late August or early September. Has anyone else had communication with an eta in the last 24 hours or so?

Maybe it is a personal pick-up at the track day in July?

That's encouraging. I haven't heard anything. My dealer did tell me that another round of calls regarding the track day was being made this week but I have not heard anything on that front either.

And Panigale78R, I think they're showing a little favoritism toward the Italians!
