I Ride: 749 , 06 red frame, Scrambler Icon in red, 1199 Panigale abs, 1299SL
When I ordered they said Aug delivery, I heard nothing different and nothing about the track event, could be worse the Norton is 2 years and HP4 is Sept!
But to be honest Ducati customer relations suck, you would think they would show the customer some consideration considering I put down 14400 gbp deposit back in November, but owning now 3 and a bit Ducatis I am getting use to it. What is the Japanese approach to the customer anyone?
Aprilia certainly involve the customer when they buy a RSV4 FWGP and they give GP paddock pass, free leathers etc. I will put up an thread for this.

Farmind, the track day is a sure thing:

1299 Superleggera | EXPERIENCE

But it sounds like no one except Italian residents have received calls about it. Dealerships were given a memo in February with all the details, but calls haven't gone out many / most / nearly all (?) customers to sign up.

I was originally told May - July delivery and haven't heard anything official other than that. I think it's safe to assume it's not coming in May though...

I see that but it would be nice to know when, coincidence or not I got a mail today saying
" The Superleggera is starting production now and it looks as though the edition will be made in one production run. At the time you were placing your order, the production dates were spread through the summer, but now they have all been drawn together. I expect to be able to tell you that your bike is underway in the next week or so. At that point it will be 2-3 weeks away from us."
This is from the dealer, and like everybody else here the dealer is not the problem its typical Ducati factory customer relation lack of!

Exactly. That's encouraging news about your bike though. I assume the US will be at least a few weeks later since we have that pond in between us.

Wow. No my dealer has told me May time frame but have heard nothing so I suspect that's not going to happen. I didn't anything about Aug-Sep time period but I do think that's late for a 17' bike. We'll see what happens.

Shipping is around 6 weeks from Italy to NZ so we may be the last to receive them based on that.
