After signing a non-disclosure, best to keep your hole shut on all levels. Companies take that very seriously.

You clearly haven't read Ducati's Non-Disclosure agreement! ha ha!

We call it the Sgt. Schultz agreement.

You don't sign anything to get a spy photo

Heaps of stuff can happen
Phones can be hacked, someone went were they shouldn't on a tour, employees etc

No dealer is going to risk something like that. I was merely suggesting JarelJ or a.n. other could allude as to the accuracy of the recent photos. They are not imparting info on an actual production bike they will have access to, but would simply be stating their opinion of a now well publicized series of images. You cant disclose what's already exposed (assuming these are real photos).

TJ, a former project/product manager at DMH, confirmed the bike in the leaked pic is it. That's as good as you're going to get pre EICMA.

That it was an authentic picture, yes. Not that this was the final design. If it were then it makes absolutely no sense in upholding any non-disclosure agreements, if what we see is what we'll get. If the design is indeed fixed then it's not going to encourage pre-orders and ultimately any future sales figures come 2018 as we will already know what to expect. Given that fact, if a dealer is candid about the current images, you have to ask yourself why. What's more unless the bike that's revealed in November is a significant step change to what we've been served up so far as the "real-deal", then the launch is going to go down like a lead balloon. The negative reactions to date will also drive interest down and affect future potential sales, unless the boys at Bologna have pulled off their biggest ruse yet and have us all barking up the wrong tree. If they manage that then I salute their marketing department. If not, then they will be promoting a very expensive lemon, post it's Milan unveiling.

Then we're just back around to what "IT" is again...... "IT" meaning it's an actual motorcycle produced by Ducati being ridden by a Ducati rider? That I have little doubt of, looks like a real bike to me. If it's a pure photoshop created from scratch then someone has WAY too much time on their hands. But if "IT" in your parlance means this IS the final bike in complete form that will be unveiled at EICMA, then I'd say the odds are not very strong for lots of reasons. I don't know and haven't seen the bike to be unveiled, and after I see it I will be sworn to disavow seeing it until EICMA, so at this point ALL OF US are just speculating, there are NO facts other than the engine details that Claudio unveiled. So treat all the information as such, no point in stating firm positions and making decisions based upon it. I don't like that photo at all, but I also see it's purposely distorted, so once you know that why would you try so hard to still "trust" it?

My point was simply that as of now, TJ's confirmation that the bike in the leaked pics was the new v4 Superbike is as close as we're going to get to any certainty until there's more leaks and/or EICMA.

I can't say this is what Ducati does, but at my company, pre-production models are always slightly different than the actual production model. We all just need to wait and see what happens.
