D-Air Suits

So I've been looking into getting a new suit as my old 1-piece has seen better days... I've found some deals on D-Air Misano, but it would be shipped from Italy to USA.

I've heard some rumors that Dainese USA will not work on the suit if I purchased it outside of the US. Can anyone confirm this?

Probably true as AGV USA won't work on my Pista that was shipped from Europe.

Oh man. I saw that and wonder why it was so much cheaper than USA. You would think USA had better prices.

You may want to wait little bit because I think they will have sale as the new model comes out (don't know how long) but I don't know how soon you need a suit

that's complete BS you either support your product or you don't.

When companies do this i stop supporting them.

i don't see how they can't support it,hardly like they are doing the work for free i think it's $300 just to get the airbag put back in place and then if you have repairs you need to pay extra for it.

the real problem i see with this suit is the turnaround time, my friend crashed his mid season and repair time was 5 weeks so you have to have a backup suit.

Yeah I don't plan to buy another AGV. But more because Arai fits better.

Seriously though. Cheek tab broken off fist time I pull them off...on a $1300 helmet...

I agree with you there reganc, I sure hope this technology expands quick so the prices can be more affordable, and with increased competition Dainese could stop playing games. I've had my suit repaired locally before by Barnacle Bill's Barnacle Bill's Racing Leather but It's time for a new one, was hoping to get something before the first track day in February.

And the turn around time is concerning as well... 2 suits is defintiely something to consider with the d-air. BUT DAMN THESE PRICES!

The other issue with it is the Weight it's really heavy and the kangaroo is $3500.

I think you can get one in the US for $2k but keep your spare suit.
