Would you care to name your dealer... I think this kind of service deserves recognition....

so the latest update:

We're 9 hours in to working on the install. The pipes in the Termi kit don't fit together, sounds exactly like what TransNone13 went through

So maybe this afternoon it'll be done.. which it better be.. as they're closed Sun/Mon

..Wow...this is odd.... I am sure they have fitted Slips before??? Even I as a complete amateur and taking several beers breaks probably "only" took 6 hrs...

I might have the terminology wrong, but do Slips come with new pipes and heat-shield too?

I think this was a complete system

Im getting the manifolds fitted Wednesday to mine. The tech is quoting 4 hrs to do it...he's done a few times and his own track bike included. Another dealer quoted 6 - 7 hrs....

So 4hrs seems really reasonable, labor is $120 per hr...so $65 is a bargain!!!

Full system on "R" and takes 6 by the book but if problems longer as mine took 7 hours when I had it done as there were fitment issues.

I just called, their Master Mechanic has been working on the install for 7 hours so far today - am i missing something?

It certainly was more than slip-ons with pipes etc.. but this seems too long
You are paying to have it installed ?

My dealer installed my full system on the R before I took delivery.
