Pardon the na´ve question, but, what was wrong with the stock rearsets?
The OEM pegs are slippery and worthless, but that is an easy fix without replacing the rearsets.

Some people want the adjustability, everyone has different feet position preference.

I had always assumed that, but when I see sets that have only two more positions than stock I start to wonder if I'm missing something...

GP shift with OEM quickshifter was worth quite a bit of money on the 1199.

Gilles rearsets with UF-11 pegs are like slippers to me, so much that I carried them over to the 1299.

I picked up a similar set of CNC rearsets - action on these is super smooth. I prefer the adjustability because I am only 5'8 tall - leprechaun sized. Bonus grippy foot pegs and GP shift capability. The bling factor doesn't hurt either. Big shout out to Gunny Fitz for a little hookup :-)

I'm same height. I don't like how my legs are too far from the tank when I lean... You have a photo which you on it?

I wonder which set are the highest sets out there.
