Rizoma turn signal problem

Hey everyone.... I recently installed an Evotech tail tidy on my Pani. I bought a set of Rizoma signal second hand from a buddy and after installing them, I am getting an intermitent failuire of the left signal. The right seems to work ok. There is really no rhyme or reason as to why they work sometime and other time they stop.

I have had the new dash ECU installed like everyone else and this has not occured with the factory signals since the new ECU install.

My question is this... are there resistors that need to be installed in-line with the wires to make a Rizoma signals work correctly on the Panigale?

Thanks!

Sounds like a connection issue to me if your front signals aren't effected, I would go over each one again and make sure. There are no resistors with the Rizomas. Did you use the Rizoma cable connector or did you splice?

Hey, when this happens does your right signal not turn off and/or your up button not work? Is it both lefts?

Known dash issue, just had mine replaced for it. Without resisters it just flashes fast, it isn't required.

SMASHED IT LIKE A PASTY!

I removed the factory connectors then soldered and heat shrunk the wires. I just can't believe there is a problem with my connection... unless it is in the factory clip?

The rear just stops working and the front just fast blinks when it does stop in the rear.

My dash ECU has been replaced with the new ECU already.

Thanks for the replies gentlemen.

Connection issue. With the Rizoma indicators you are well better off getting the actual Rizoma connector cables, they save about half an hour installation time and work well. I have noted that they require specific mirror brackets and not the brackets that a lot of dealers have posted.

Side note : With them sexy Rizoma mirrors arriving shortly, it will be interesting to see what the recommended wiring method will be.

I believe the answer is no. I always cut the OEM connectors and attached them to the new signals.

The connector cables plug into the same connectors (under rear cowl) as the stock signals. No splicing, no additional resistor.

This is what I used Rizoma Graffio and these
