Left controls intermittent

Anyone else experience this problem?

While I was on my trip in the mountains last week my left control buttons would fail intermittently. The right(only) turn signal and the toggle up buttons would not work after a while of riding. Seemed it would fail whenever the bike would get hot from railing it in the twisties. Once the bike cooled off in a few hours everything was back to normal. But this problem was daily and every ride. Very annoying to say the least.

I have days from my anniversary so I'm hoping to get it under warranty. I really hope this is just a switch. Any ideas?

After reading someone's post, I suspect a dash board replacement.

Yes, definitely the dash issue.

There is a new factory fix that has some extra wiring with resistor or something
Ask your dealer to refer to bulletin 881

Indeed, its a dash-ECU issue.
See:
http://ducati1199.com/mechanical-tec...u-failure.html
and
http://ducati1199.com/ducati-1199/49...slave-ecu.html

Of note, I had new symptoms during my last ride:
In addition to all of the usual failures (see page one of my original post, above), the left turn signal would stay on (very dangerous) and I could no longer activate the high beam.

I have the same problem on my 2013 Tricolore. Going to take it in this week, very annoying.

This is correct. I had this TSB done 5 days ago, and it involves a new wiring harness from Ducati NA. It is free of charge and so far, it has fixed my intermittent left controls problem, which I had since 50 miles on the bike. I have put on about 200 miles on the bike in 4 separate rides now after the fix and there has not been a problem yet. Fingers crossed!
