I'm a long time EBR fan. I don't see them coming back from this one. The liquidation company that bought them a year ago has done what they came to do (push out remaining stock). Tooling and machinery are next.

Someone needs to talk me off a ledge... I'm in negotiations with AF1 Racing on a 1190RS Carbon Edition. I know they're tired of looking at it.

I had a lot of fun on my '97 S1 Lightning. I just let a friend know this news and he's going to see about getting one even though parts will be scarce.

Parts shouldn't be bad for the old tubers. They were around awhile and have quite a following. A 2014+ EBR 1190...not so much.

Exactly. I suggested something Italian to him.

Too bad... I was surprised they were still limping along.

Plot twist. Inside source tells me the doors will remain open. He was reluctant to elaborate, there are NDA's involved with the party that might be taking over.

Can we just call them Phoenix Racing already?

Phoenix Racing fits if this happens. Fingers crossed for Eric.

The bike was fun enough handled great, a little slow, reminded me of my Norton Commando.
Took it to Laguna for a track day and surprised and embarrassed quite a few of the A groupers with my tractor. The problem was the constant recalls, i was used to the bi weekly changing of valve cover gaskets, and parts falling off. The total lack of support and the ZERO resale value is what pissed me off, in 50 years of owning and riding motorcycles, the Buell was the worst experience. That is why EBR is gone down.
