It is cheaper apparently. Lol not saying I'm a gsxr fan but they surely hit the mark with pricing and being good "enough"

I'm most disappointed by HRC Honda...high price amongst Japanese bikes and it's not all that impressive. Not just HPs but other things as well. Wished they did it more like Yamaha and go all out.

Yeah honda has always been the late guy to the party and even when they did show they never really impressed. Sounds like the 2017 is changing that mind set though because i have to kinda admit i dont mind the new honda.

Yammy went balls to the wall for the 2015 R1 and they set the bar and then some for the japs, that bike is beautiful and and backs it up in the performance dept. The sound the xplane motor makes is pretty amazing too.

If you look at the reviews on the Honda everyone mentioned how intrusive the abs is on them and you can't turn them off. Hondas electronics are still far behind everyone else's. They're still selling of their name, charging more, and giving you less. Sorry, no Honda on my radar.

The last ground breaking Honda was the CBR900RR. Since then they've been solid well built bikes as usual but nothing groundbreaking or cutting edge.

The GSX-R could make 210hp and I still wouldn't buy one.

Looks like that will become the engine of choice for the Dwarf Car, Midget Lights, and Lightning Sprint racers, I got off the jap merry go round many years ago, last j bike was a 1989 GSXR 1100, bought new, black, bad ass. Somehow they lost control of they're styling taste over the years.

2000 RC51? Honda built a v twin to beat the Ducati in WSB! And, it worked. Twice!

You got me there... I agree the RC51 was a great bike and proven in WSBK.
