Unless you come regularly first in the race you are at best deemed a nearly man or at worst a washed up failure in the eyes of Mark. I pity the rest of the field given his views of what he regards as a successful rider. As I said, success need not be or is generally measured by a 1-2-3 result alone, in the eyes of most people. Ask most team managers if they feel strong consistent results are as important as an occasional race win and I'll wager they won't make a distinction between the two. Not something we'll ever get him to recognize I feel.

i never said anybody is washed up except for rossi. i dont even think danny is washed up as i dont see anybody out there that would be better on the honda. he will never win a title though.

however there are a bunch of guys that would consistently finish ahead of rossi on the yamaha. zarco jorge and folger to name some.

if you're not winning you're washed up.

rossi will get proper mention during race season. as they say in football if you dont want to see them dance dont let them score.

rossi could silence me in a heartbeat by actually winning something
