I had the slight advantage at Imola as I was better on the brakes than the guy on the BMW. He'd been to Mugello before so it took me a while to get up to speed there as it's all very fast sweeping corners and the massive straight, a bit like Philip Island I guess?
Mugello, PI, COTA, Laguna Seca and now Imola are on my bucket list. I used to hate Motegi but it has been growing on me! Brno looks like a hoot and I definitely miss Estoril. This list keeps on growing!

I wanted to put up some photos but I keep getting really restrictive size and dimension limits and have given up on life. I'm sure I used to be able to put up standard size photos?

Thats exactly what I was thinking. A friend of mine does world superstock speeds and is ten seconds quicker than me at most tracks and that is something to behold. He will ride in front of me one handed and with his head turned around watching me ride behind him haha, very humbling!

Man, this is amazing to see. I am going to be in Monza next week for work and I'm finished late on the 3rd. I wanted to stay a couple of days and do the DRE at Mugello that week but I can't make it work that I stay any longer. Your video is really showing me the magnitude of that mistake. It looks like an absolutely epic time at an insane track.

Yes they are amazing. Very 'Ducati' if that makes sense! Many of the Spanish or Portuguese tracks are comparable in terms of layout but the Italian tracks have that something extra that makes them incredibly special.

At Imola its quite surreal seeing peoples houses around the track edges and Mugello is just your perfect fantasy track in every way!

I heard there was a pool within the facility at Misano... You don't want to get into details about my fantasy track "in every way"

Cool riding! I want to be your friend

I was browsing YouTube the other day and your mugello video popped up on my recommended list. I watched it and thought, ' I hate this guy even though I never met him'. Whilst I haven't met you, I find out it's you! Defo my ultimate track.

What was you max lean angle at imola? It looked pretty insane. 55?

As for speed differential, I bumped into a mate at cadwell one day last year and he told me the time he was humbled. He is in the mid to top of the fast group on a gsxr 600. A d rather handy. As he entered coppice. One of the McKenzie brothers on a WD40 bike rode round the outside of him and buggered off. By the time he got near the exit of Charlie's two mckenzie was not far of cresting the hill on the park straight! He was overtaken by him many a time. Always left plenty of room. But the lines he was taking to do he said he'd of binned it if he tried to do it. Just on a different planet was his words!
