I love my DP Akra. Yes it was a little more but the weight, sound and looks is what did it for me.

It is very noticeable in my opinion, bike is very smooth at lower range and feels like it has more hp
..and for some reason the exhaust has become much louder

i just received mine last month… It does't use oil, just high powered air to clean it…
I can't remember how often it should be cleaned unfortunately.. I intend on doing it maybe once every 2 months..I have it on my street bike not my track bike…
The PO8 is very good according to the literature reviews; I wanted to get the P16 but I think the PO8 is good for everyday riding on the road… I had an MWR and BMC before that, the MWR is a great filter but I think the Sprint may be better from what I understand…

So what are the opinions out there on the new front exit Termi compared to the full akra or older version full termi.

it sounds like a horde of valkyries....with PMS. I had once thought it gave up top end power, being a shorter overall pipe length. It doesn't, as it pulls smartly and without slowing up to redline in 6th gear.

downside is no db killers. it could be problematic at a track with strict noise restrictions.

At this point I want a good deep sound and have a dedicated track bike so volume is not a huge concern. I like the weight savings of the front exit Termi but if the overall performance gains are the Akra then that would be a consideration.

My plan was/is to put the front exit Termi slip on/Sprint filter/Rexxer reflash combination. It seems to be the best bang for the buck.

I have not purchased anything to this point though so I am looking for some references or experiences with some of the other options just to make sure I am not missing something.

I personally love the sound of my front-exit Termis. It's very aggressive. But ALL Panigale exhausts are a bit thin and lacking, compared to the 1098/1198. Those motors rewrote the book on DEEP thunderous exhaust notes.
Thanks from Sprinkles
