You have a picture of your updated seat with this seat cover?

Very useful info about the seats. I did 880 km ride yesterday to the Pyrenees mountains, roughly one third of back roads, one third mountain roads and last third high speed motorway. The display did show 101 km average speed for the trip so the total seat time was 8 hours 42 minutes. I was surprised that the stock seat was that comfortable. I like the slippery surface for the sideways movement but not back and forth movement. I will try the Luimoto cover on the stock seat next.

I did get a blister in my private part but I will leave the location and details out.

In practice, one lifts himself/herself off the seat with their feet and legs, the less slippery material is there to hold the rider in place when necessary.

I took my seat off entirely. No sliding around and it looks very cool that way. And how that impresses the ladies!

In all seriousness, I love the race seat and prefer that for track days. Great grip and keeps me in a better body position (butt higher and further back). I, like some of you, find that increased height less beneficial on the street.

I'm going to take some advice here and try recovering the stocker and see how that works... Think I'll also invest in some non-teflon coated rear sets too!

Tom

Race Seat vs. Comfort Seat Comparison-photo.jpg

here is the HTmoto seat cover, with rubber like grip in the center, carbon mesh pattern on the edges. $65+tax, I like it.
