Totally understand!

But if you're in Alamo or Lafayette and working in Richmond you won't need to worry about the Caldecott tunnels at all - there's a fairly nice ride along San Pablo Dam Road taking you essentially from Lafayette to Richmond. And, Bear Creek road is also a nice diversion on the way into or from work.

Thanks to iiiv and Tricolore3SF for helping me get a 1199 Panigale Tricolore. I paid for the bike today and trust to pick it up in a 2 or 3 days.

I'm staying at a colleague's home in Monterey.

If I do ride down I may pre-stage some clothes and such the weekend prior 'cause I don't want to haul a bunch of crap either on my back or on the Pani. If I do, I''l be glad to haul some of your stuff too - I'll go back down to pick it up the following weekend.

If I trailer down I have room for another bike on the trailer.

CAVEAT: I'm still undecided.
Wise move. I am not taking the Tricolore down to the MotorGP .. no way, too may bike thieves. I went last year and had a great time. I might go again this year, although I might get a hotel and take my R1.

Checking in from the south bay. Will be at Laguna on sat and sun, but will probably drive down. I found the shuttles to be a convenient option the past few years.
