In NM - anyone else?

Folks - anyone live in NM? Specifically Alamogordo area? Like to meet up w/some experienced folks that know the area for some riding in the mtn's.

Also, heading to Deming to check out that track this Sat, not taking the Duc - dedicated track bike - if anyone is going let me know.

Rick

Welcome Rick.
Cloner, Mundman and myself are from NM, to be specific Albuquerque.
We ride together and do our annual DITR (Ducatis in the Rockies) trip as well.
I'm looking forward to checking out the track in Deming. The track in ABQ is OK but short and the surface is pretty rough.

Huh, I didn't know there was a track in Deming! Maybe I'll have to bring my bike when I visit my dad in Silver.

Me too. Though class tends to get in the way of some weekend riding...

Rick
I'm your Huckleberry.

As Karl (Zaster) said, we're in ABQ. If you'd like to meet up for a local ride with us one weekend you can check in at NMMR to see what's going on with the local riding group. We meet in Cedar Crest, NM fairly every Sunday throughout the riding season and at least take a shot up the back side of Sandia. We make it a point to ride north at least a few times a year up to Jemez, Taos, or beyond, and as Karl mentioned we do a trip to southwestern Colorado annually.

You can check out -- Welcome to SMRI -- if you're interested in track days in Albuquerque, too. SMRI run a track day at least once per month from April through October if you're interested.

Welcome aboard!

Check out the NMMR link in the post, above, for tags on local rides.

I'm near Taos, way up North...

I enjoyed the track in Deming quite a bit! Longer, & in better shape than the one in Albuquerque! The owners are great, & I like it that they usually have 2 days back-to-back, and almost year 'round.

What are your thoughts?
